THE IMPETUS

Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege of working with a myriad of clients. Some young, some mature and everything in between. Happy faces, sad faces, anxious faces, perplexed faces, depressed faces, angry faces and deeply wounded faces. Faces that relay the complexity and nuance of everyday lived experiences. All, Very Beautiful Faces. Through observation and direct engagement, there have been many shared themes of pain, challenge, healing and victory.

THE LEARNED EXPERIENCE

For many years, I have worked diligently to curate authentic spaces for growth, for healing. As a result, this has allowed many to feel seen and heard without judgement. I’ve learned when you give a person space to express, fully, there is a greater sense of personal empowerment and freedom that follows. Hence, my mantra - ‘Empowerment through Expression’.

THE CONVEYANCE

ASC or AugustSunChild (as I affectionately call it) is a space to convey some of the many shared themes throughout my work and adventures, but in a creative way! It is my intent to be clear in the messaging and accessible to those who seek such a space for authentic expression. If nothing else, I hope some of the themes presented resonates and help you begin to ask the necessary questions to jumpstart your own personal process of empowerment and healing.
